Positivity or Numbness

I had applied to an excellent management consultancy firm about a month back. Dream kinda job. They called me for an interview last week. Was very excited and fortunately, had a very good interview (at least i think so :P ). Thought that I would be called for a second interview.

However today, they emailed me stating that I am not selected.

First reaction: Feeling bad!
Second reaction: Why? I am about to email them.
Third reaction: There's always a next time. let's learn and move on.

Now: Weird feeling. Either numb or optimistic...can't decipher.

Full-stop.

Passion!

Yesterday all of a sudden, i had this passion for doing two things in life:

1. Having a camera:

Reason: want to take as much pics as possible of wherever i go, whatever i see, and cherish it after a few years.
Had this passion since quite a long time, and i think its quite achievable.

2. Seeing the world:


Reason: yesterday, my friend was telling me about his trip to Argentina and showed me this picture

Its difficult to visit these kinds of places but very possible.

Hence, Seeing the world + camera = fantabulous ;) (the word doesn't do justice but its candid)

ATV Biking !

Had an awesome trip to ATV Adventure Park today!

The trip was organised by Monash Adventure Club. This was the first time I went with the club and it was an amazing experience. Pictures speak a thousand words so i'll resort to posting some pics...soon.

Exams will finish by 4th November 2010, so only 1.5 months left before i go back to Pakistan. Wish i can explore more of Malaysia before i go back.

Why Blog?

Was inspired by some of my friends writing blogs so i thought i should experience it as well. However, since the past few months, I have been thinking.....what is the purpose of writing blogs?

Writing about the happenings in your life, expressing your point of view on a certain subject, and then sharing it with the world...how is it fun? maybe, we people need attention, or maybe, we need to enlighten people with our wisdom.

Whatever the case is, I'll only realize once i have written a few posts.

For now, the reason for creating my blog is to record my happenings in life and look back at them after a few years and reflect on the way we evolve. I don't have the courage to share this blog with anyone so wont promote it on fb, twitter, msn or skype =)

Don't know how to end my first post, so i will just write full-stop.
